MYOFASCIA RELEASE THERAPY
What is Myo?

What is Fascia?
Fascia is a connective tissue membrane that surrounds the muscles, bones, joints, ligaments, and tendons, aiding in support of the muscles to prevent a tear from overwork.
Myofascial Release Therapy releases constrictions to the muscles and fascia in the body, improving range of motion, mobility, performance and helping in Rehabilitation.
ASSESSMENT EVALUATION
When you contact Equi-Trust we will perform an assessment evaluation at your boarding facility or barn. We will assess the horse's conformation, nutrition, overall health, movement, range of motion and pain test, also with a full medical intake form to learn about your horse's lifestyle, accidents and issues to be able to determine the best structural integration therapy for him or her. Every horse is different and each one has different needs.
CORE COMPRESSION/
TRIGGER POINT THERAPY
By applying pressure on trigger points in the body, we can release deep constrictions to muscle groups that are working together under a larger superficial muscle, as well as helping ligaments, tendons, and joints.
HEAT THERAPY
By applying heat therapy in specific parts of the body prior to the myofascia release we start to soften thick layers of fascia to be able to manipulate and release constrictions due to intense training, training accessories, heavy work load or compensation patterns from injuries.
STRETCH THERAPY
By performing stretches with your horse, the physiotherapy will hold longer, as well it will help prevent injuries and improve range of motion. We will perform basic stretches and teach horse owners, trainers or care takers to do them correctly. This will help your horse not only after workouts or training but for their overall life style.

Equi-Trust
Here at Equi-Trust, our main goal is to help and provide your equine partner with a better quality of life and physical performance, we work for the love of the horse and its well being. Our main concern is applying the right therapy depending on the horse's needs.
We are certified in Equine Structural Integration Therapy and rehabilitation, Equi-Trust is located in Miami, FL and provides services to all of South Florida. We also travel to different locations within the state and the USA. Please contact us for travel charges and fees that may apply.
Equi-Trust is owned by certified Equine Structural Integration Therapist Esteban Suarez, Esteban grew up his whole life with horses, from Paso Fino Show Horses, Rodeo Horses in his family's farms back in Colombia, South America, to Jumper and Dressage Horses here in the United States. Knowledgeable, respectful, and caring for people and horses.
Equine Structural Integration Therapy will help your horse improve its physical performance, helping all types of breeds and disciplines, also aids in the rehabilitation process of an injury or ongoing issues working hand in hand with veterinarians, farriers, nutritionist, and trainers.
